Samsung LN46a850 Wiselink DLNA

I am having a problem where anything I stream to my LCD shows up but it is either in the wrong aspect or it shows in a very small section in the middle of the screen.. 3-4 inches of black all around..

I have triend the options but there are only TWO.. FIT and ORIGINAL for picture size.. Fit usually is the right aspect. (I.E. 16x9 or 4x3) but still everything is shrunken down and not taking advantage of the full screen.. I have many HD files at 1080p in a number of formats and nothing I play shows up and takes advantage of the full screen..

What am I missing?!?

I have not updated firmware as I have not researched it much and had heard rumours of issues with color etc..
I am also running a full gigabit network.. and my xbox360 across the house and upstairs has no problem playing MOST of the same content..
