TV just clicks and makes the samsung 'sound' as if it's turning on but it never does. TV is just over 2 years old. Thanks for any help.

For your research.

Pull up google and research the following.

BAD CAPS.

Ok, now you know that story. Next?

SAMSUNG BAD CAPS.

Now you know a common cause of the clicking and that it was some parts that were not made by Samsung and the repairs are well known.

My thoughts are:

1. Turn off the set and stop using it until repaired.
2. Call 1-800-SAMSUNG and keep your cool. Do not threaten legal action unless you don't want it fixed.

Good luck,
Bob

Thanks Bob!

I followed your advice and Samsung is going to replace the capacitors free of charge.

You're welcome.

The issues caused by BAD CAPS is creating a lot of work out there. It's a shame the original makers were not on the hook.
