While I think an antenna is not a receiver I know that OTA is a minefield of trouble today as many are used to cable reception and forget the days on antenna. Not much has changed and you find one set does better than the next over and over.
For me I went with a much better antenna and still get a blink once in a while. Here's what I used.
If you feel it's the TV, make the call and get it serviced fast.
Just connected an OTA receiver (AmazonBasics Ultra Thin Indoor HDTV Antenna) and the picture blinks every 5 seconds, and goes black for a second or two. The sounds continues over the black picture.
Works fine with the cable box connected.
I see this sometimes when connected to my Roku but that seems to happen initially and then stops.
I connected a second TV (Westinghouse) to the AmazonBasics Antenna and it is perfect. So the problem is definitely the Samsung TV.
Anyone solution out there for the Blinking Samsung TV?
