SAMSUNG LN40A 550 Playstation3 1080p screen blinks and blur

by jaycee111 / January 1, 2009 12:44 PM PST

I just purchased Samsung LN40A 550 today.

I have hooked up with Playstation3 with SONY PS3 HDMI cable.

Display is automatically set to 1080p and the I see little white

star looking things blinking on the screen.

Some games are set to 720p and it doesn't occur, however most games

I play which are 1080p, have those little things blinking.

I have tried all the settings available in PS3 but it is still

happening. It doesn't bother me that much and I can still live with it

but since i have noticed that, I want to know what the problem is

and how to fix it. My guess is, maybeb problem with HDMI cable?

I haven't tried using different HDMI cable from different manufacture

but I don't want to waste my money on HDMI cable without any information.

If this problem has already been reported, please provide me some solution. Thank you.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
