thanks for the settings
Nov 30, 2009 1:40PM PST

i wasn't very happy with my purchase until i finally decided to research a bit and calibrate everything. these settings helped tremendously.

i just had one problem with the "HDMI black level" setting. it doesn't let me access it so i can change it, so it's just stuck on off. i was wondering why i can't access it. looked it up on the samsung website but i couldn't find anything. any info would help.

i have it hooked up to an LG upconvert dvd player through an hdmi cable and it's running dvd's at 1080i resolution.

Help!!!
Feb 9, 2010 11:37PM PST

So I attempted to change my settings to the ones suggested by Cnet, but some of the options are locked, and won't allow me to change them, such as Color Tone, HDMI Black level, and a few others. It does look a little better than stock factory settings, but I want the color tone to be a little warmer. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
