I'm not sure what you mean by "hit you with a blank screen". If you mean "not show Blu Ray pictures at all", I would probably be interested in seeing where that is posted. As far as I know, the LN32A450 will output just fine. I haven't heard otherwise.

I've been looking to upgrade to a slightly higher LCD. The Samsung LN32A450 caught my eye.

My question is in playing blu-ray on the TV. I've read up on a few of the articles here, one stated that newer TV's would display the signal while others would just hit you with a blank screen.
Just looking for some knowledge, any help would be appreciated.
