Samsung LN-T3253H 1022 firmware rollback?

Mar 23, 2009 12:40PM PDT

Hello. We have the following tv in the subject title. Currently firmware 1023 is installed. The tv came with 1022 from the factory when we received it. I upgraded the firmware to 1023 a few months ago since it was available on the Samsung site. It is now gone. 1023 was suppose to fix the HDMI flickering. It has got worse and it happens about 2-3 times a day. With 1022. It only happened about once every 2 months or so. How do we revert back to 1022 firmware? This is the only issue we are having with the tv and I know it is due to upgrading to 1023 firmware. Please any help asap would be greatly appreciated. I sure hope. I can roll back to 1022.

thank you for being rude and not responding....

After days of searching myself. I found the answer. Why could some one not be be kind with just 1 reply confirming or denying if this could be done. Especially with so called Samsung "techs" on here. Shame on you! Pretty rude imo. Any ways. To other owners with the same make/model and firmware. Make sure DNR (digital noise reduction) is set to off. That will stop the flicker. Mine was set to Auto. I am thinking it is some kind of glitch with the 1023 firmware and DNR. I remember with 1022 firmware if it was set to Auto. This problem did not happen. Which pretty much confirms in my book it is in fact a firmware issue with DNR when it is on with 1023 version. Maybe a tech on here can get their head out of their rear and pass this note on to the firmware team for they can correct it.
