Samsung LED55 -- Can't Login to Netflix

Have been trying to resolve a Netflix login issue for the past several weeks where the screen would tell me if could not connect to Netflix but all other apps could connect. It would not let me sign out of Netflix which is what I suspected I needed to do. After multiple attempts to reset my network and wifi connections I confirmed my connections were all valid both wifi and direct wired connection ... I was able to solve it by creating a Samsung account and logging into it. That seemed to log me out of my Netflix account, after which i was able to log back in and resume streaming.
