Samsung LED tv with red lines

Hi all,

Our Samsung LED Smart TV has started showing red lines that get worse as the tv turns on and "starts up".

samsung un46b6000vf is the model

Remember that no TV tech diagnoses just from that but it looks like a common LCD TV issue and to me does not look like a panel issue but some board or connection to the panel.

You might find folk diagnose such in AVSFORUM but I rarely give such unless it's something I am sure about. This one can be a few boards or connections so that's all I can offer. How old is it?

Is this something we could get into the tv and make sure the connection was secure?

Because that area is considered one that is not user serviceable. I've seen discussions on such but I can't give out any dangerous advice that exposes folk to lethal voltages.

I looked at that picture. It was very good and clear; I appreciate it, and I wish more people would do this when they ask a question here about an image issue.

But allow me to press you a bit further. Could you please turn on the menu and see if you still have the same image issue? Let me know what you see.
