Samsung LED TV volume goes down to zero by itself

very recently i purchased a LED TV 40" 5100 series 5 samsung tv. after a month the TV experienced volume problem. volume of tv goes down to zero by itself. i tried to put off the screen and turn on again but after 5 mins of putting on, again same problem persists.Can anyone help me out what could be the cause? i read it in this page about LCD TVs having same problem and their remedies but i could not find any about LED TV latest one.

In the USA it's 1800SAMSUNG to have them come out and fix it.

Is the unit completely up to date with firmware? Also, have you tried resetting the unit?

yes, the unit's firmware is up-to-date. and also resetting is done repeatedly for many times. I have even kept the TV off for few days thinking it would resolve by itself but its not the case. after putting on for 5 mins, the volume signal appears by itself and goes to zero. but visual is not a problem. What could be the problem? please advice...
