MKV is a container which means we can't know the encoding is something that works over Samsung's DLNA implementation.
And if you look at the DLNA standard, some encoding is listed but I don't see MKV.
Anyone have experience playing mkv files via DLNA with Windows 7/Windows Media Player 12?
I was able to play avi files, but can't get mkv to show under media.
Also, what about UN46C6300SF with Dlink DNS-323 NAS which supports UPnP?
I thought these standards would have matured by now, but obvious not.
Is my only option to convert mkv to avi or divx?
