Samsung led tv 6500 - Media play file icons

by vixenpip / August 7, 2010 6:33 AM PDT

Is there a way to change the icons in the media play movie files. It seems it takes a random scene from the movie. It would be nice if it could be changed to dvd artwork.

I don't believe so, but I'll be happy to look into this to see if the software can do that.

Video thumbnails
by jw650 / August 9, 2010 8:27 PM PDT

For USB connection, video thumbnails are created and stored on the TV itself (this is for a B650). For DLNA, the servers may create their own thumbnails which might be replaceable. Some servers might even provide an option for this.

The PC Share Manager server software stores thumbnails under MediaRoot\HDD\Video in the program file folder.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
