Feb 4, 2015 11:04PM PST

Hi,my samsung led 32 inch tv's display is not working but sound is working.TV is about 2 years old.Display outline is there looking at tv very closely but i contacted a samsung mechanic and he said panel is not working and it needs replacement. But i can see the outline of display while looking at tv closely. How can this happen if the panel is not working to a level that it needs a replacement worth 15k.
Should I buy a new tv??Disappointed with samsung.. Sad

Answer
There are unsantioned repairs out there.

Samsung MUST do the right repair as you and I expect the set to perform as new after the repair. They can not and will not do a repair like we see at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE6K4xBVweA

What this means is you may have to find a repair shop that does this sort of repair.

Have to write yes.

Samsung has their way and I noted unsanctioned ways so yes. But this is where it gets wonky. Repair costs can exceed replacement costs. Sometimes I find I can replace it and sell off the old broke one to someone that wants it.
