I'm sorry to hear that your TV keeps freezing up on the updates.
Have you tried performing a reset of the unit by pressing and holding down the EXIT button? If a full reset doesn't work, you may want to contact the Samsung customer service center in your region for further assistance.
I recenty bought a Samsung tv, and connected it to the net via RJ45. It worked fine, and then I accidentally did a Firmware update.
Now when i go into the Applications menu, the TV automatically starts an update, and freezes on USA Today.
I have tried removing the App, but it freezes.
