Samsung LE40C580 Randomly Dims

Hello,

My appologies if this has been asked before, but I have a Samsung LE40C580J1K 40 inch LCD Television, with an annoying problem.

When watching either the built-in Freeview part or watching Freesat (through a Humax Foxsat box) the television seems to randomly go dim and bright before settling back to a normal picture.

I have turned off all the filters and turned off all of the 'eco' functions, but am now at a loss to know what to do next.

Here's hoping that someone can help me out.
