Samsung LE32C530

Well the TV should update the firmware if im having problems or not. Do i need to update it with older firmwares?? For example update from T-MSX5DEUC-1002.1 to T-TDT5DEUC-1004.1 to T-TDT5DEUC-1006.1 etc?? If so where can i found the older firmwares for the TV???

If I'm understanding the question correctly, you can update to the latest firmware at any point, and still get the fixes from the previous update versions. So finding previous versions and updating them one-at-a-time is not necessary. The latest firmware will have all the previous updates included.

It may be available on the website, but not on the server. The Samsung customer service center in your area would be able to better answer that.

same problem here. 32C530 FW T-MSX5DEUC 1002. New FW is called T-TDT5DEUC 1019. Put it on usb (flashed my other 46B650 with this usb stick, so it is 100% okay) and the 32C530 can#t find a new FW.

So I think there is a Problem with the name.

T-TDT5DEUC is the new FW bur my 32C530 waits for a T-TDT5DEUC. So the tv thinks this is not a FW for me. Where can I find a FW for this version?

I live in switzerland and my native language is french.

I've bought the LE32C530 recently and I've the same problem, the tv can't find the firmware on the key.
I've tested with 3 different keys, tested to rename the folder T-TDT5DEUC in T-MSX5DEUC it doesn't work. (the keys were formated before)
I've tested versions T-TDT5DEUC 1019 and T-TDT5DEUC 1018

I want to updade the firmware because of a CI+ bug and a subtitle bug.

I've sent an email to samsung support switzerland, no answer for the moment.

My version is T-MSX5DEUC-1002.1

It seems that all people with the T-MSX5DEUC version can't update.

I tolk with a team service on korea where this soft is born. Is a global defective with upgrading firmwares on TV 4,5 series. Don't try upgrade else you'll damage Flash memory chip on TV then you need replacing tv board on service & you lose warranty.

I can't confirm this - I just have no idea, nor would I. I can't speak for issues outside of the U.S. I would also recommend that people who are attempting to update contact the Samsung customer service center in their region.

In the U.S., the warranty is not lost if the firmware causes the issue, but that may or may not vary for other regions. Again, I can only speak for procedures in the U.S.

Why Samsung sells TVs with software that can not be upgraded slightly by consumers? My TV is manufactured in Hungary and sold in Romania. TVs are the same as in the U.S.. Same hardware, software ... TV standards (NTSC, PAL) ... is there any difference? Procedures that are used in the U.S. can be applied to all other countries (regions). If you are a representative from Samsung, you need to know what's wrong why can not easily upgrade the software by consumers. We need some clear steps in this direction. Try to explain whether or not you are able to guide us? I want an explanation in this regard. I gave money to charity this TV. I was recommended to take this TV to many friends. Thank you.

I launched Media Player from usb, i played a movie with subtitle, then is running perfectly until time is 30':00" which my subtitle was stopped and movie is running. I found a file upgrade on samsung t-tdt5deuc-1019 I downloaded, unzipped on PC and transferred on usb stick. Then i launched on tv menu at software upgrade, my tv scanned my stick and a error message displayed which do not find a file to upgrade. May you help me? i tried a lot of posibilites on stick (format FATY,fat32, ntfs)... no effect

Nope same problem as yourself, my TV keeps saying there's no files to upgrade.

So is there any solution for this?? There seems to be a good few people with this problem over on avforums!!

So far nothing. I have to wait a bit until the software that Koreans do something. Until then, patience and tobacco. Once again, no longer tortured to upgrade your TV, you risk damaging it.

Hello, i'm from turkey and the same problem here. I will track this thread to find a solution. If i find something to help i will share with you of course But in my country technical service is changing the main board to solve the problem. There is no any solution with the software so far. That's Samsung's BANTER! how change the mainboard if exists an chip which update electrical, non UV programable as same as EEPROM? Normally this chip is socketed on regular socket where is easily changed with another chip in case if damaged it. why are update files on site? for some tv's? are not to all?

i've the le37c530 - version 1002. same problem, can't update to new version! we just have to wait a fix, or we would never be able to upgrade the firmware?

is as same as Read Only Memory, so we can't upgrade... So we waiting for new upgrade file that's our TV's accept this file... I don't know when appear this file... Maybe two, three months....

Samsung released the new firmware finaly and i've succesfully upgraded my firmware . The subtitle issue is also fixed with the new firmware. That's the version number released on Turkey : T-MSX5DEUC-2004.1

I updated to 1019 but to 2004.1 not working, even if I renamed the firmware folder to T-TDT5DEUC, I hope they will fix this soon.

please check what is model of tv, and check on official site the correct upgrade file. You risk to damage your tv's flash rom. You must take the official upgrade file for your tv model. please to be careful
