Samsung LCD TV shows dark gray spots

I have an LCD Samsung TV which I bought 5 years ago from Kuwait. I live now in Egypt. Recently it shows dark gray spots scattered on the screen mostly on the left half. these spots
are still weak and barely can be seen on light color background, yet they are getting noticeable with time. I noticed also
that when there is a black or dark background "usually displayed between
different scenes", a reddish spots are formed.

I tried to change display settings such as brightness, sharpness, contrast... etc. but the problem still exist.

Does anyone have the same problem? is it repairable? and how to fix it?

Thank you in advance.
