I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Unfortunately, this sounds like it may need servicing. Here’s the thread where you can get details on setting that up: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-542437/service-issues-click-here-for-help/
Watching TV last night the colors went intensely red and green. Changing ports (my husband did this - I don't understand), plugging the Roku player directly in, switching to the Blue Ray player, nothing changed the weird picture. The menu screen, however, looks normal. I contacted a technician at JustAnswer, and he said it's the main board. He said I could replace it myself. Does anyone have experience with (1) this problem? and/or (2) replacing the main board? and/or (3) whether or not replacing the main board will solve the issue. Do I go ahead and order the part and give it a try, or buy a new TV? I live in BFE, so getting a technician to come from the big city may be expensive. I'm not afraid of taking the set apart, but if it involves soldering, no way.
