Samsung LCD TV ideal video settings

Feb 10, 2006 6:20AM PST

I just returned my Sony Bravia 32inch LCD and got the Samsung 32inch LCD instead. Now the TV works great for PC connection displaying the full 1380X760 resolution vers. the 1080 allowed by Sony. However the color seems to be way off and unnatural compares to the Sony. I've played around with the settings for a while and still have not found a decent setting. Can anyway share with me the settings you use on your Samsung TV? ie. The contrast, color, sharpness etc. Your help will be much much appreciated, thanks~

Samsung LCD TV Video Settings

I purchased a Samsung LCD TV 450 series two weeks ago, and have been trying to adjust the color with no success. Finally, today, I checked the cable plug-ins, and found one cable not securely inserted. When I plugged it in securely, the color immediately snapped into perfect balance. *Blush* -- why didn't I check to see if it was plugged in ... first! Hope it works for you, too.

$20-25. If too much money, rent one. I might recommend the Avia over the DVE, because I think the first might be a tiny bit more accurate, and has a couple of extras such as LFE sweep stuff.

i would've linked an owner's thread to your model, but alas, as usual, its not listed by the OP. gl, search avs
