Question

Samsung LCD TV Display Problem

I have a Samsung LA32A550P1RLXL LCD TV and few days before suddenly the display came with small squares in whole screen though the picture from all sources are visible but with above mentioned squares and sound is OK. Pls check the below image links for better understanding. Please help me to identify and to rectify the problem. Is it TCON Board problem or any other?

Clarification Request
Those images look fine to me.

In reply to: Samsung LCD TV Display Problem

The TCON board is something you read about on the web and frankly WAY OVER DONE as a fix. The problem is not only do folk wish for it to be this board there is now a shortage of boards as folk buy them up in hope.

The cost of the counter is 150 bucks here so the fix is to replace the display if out of warranty.

If other displays are fine

Then get repair estimates. The lack of spare parts is a sign this model is rarely repaired.

Not the LCD PANEL problem

In reply to: If other displays are fine

Just replaced with good one from other tv and still same problem. So panel is ok. Now problem is somewhere else.

Since there are only a handful of boards.

In reply to: Not the LCD PANEL problem

Try changing the one you suspect. If you have no reason to pick one over the over use the old tech's advice about which to change. Ready?

"Change the cheapest part first."

Let check by replacing one by one
