Samsung lcd screen turns black every 1-2 seconds

today it started going black every one to two seconds and then coming back repeadedly, the audio works fine and has no interuptions. has something burned out? could it be something i could order online and replace myself? if you folks need any more info let me know. i cant live without my tv @_@

Try a reset (see manual)

Other video sources too but if it still does it, remove it from power till it can be serviced.

found the part!

i found the part it seems to be called inverter transformer QGAH02095
NY0902EB

do you guys know where i could get this part? i opened it up and the part was burnt on one side is it as easy as saudering in a new one?

Usually in some TV repair parts supplier.

Jameco, Digikey, www.samsungparts.com and the usual suppliers to TV repair people. I'm seeing some that think this stuff should be easier to find but part of repair work and sometimes the longest time on the repair is sourcing the parts and waiting.
