djs9604,
Without being able to look at the unit, it's difficult to diagnose. However, the fact that it works okay with the DVD input is a pretty good sign. While there may be a board malfunctioning in the unit, the most expensive part - the panel - seems to be okay at least when using that input.
I would recommend having a technician take a look.

I have a Samsung LCD (LN-T5265F) less than two years old. It has a Great picture and until recently has given me no trouble whatsoever. I first noticed a thin black line on the extreme R/H side of the screen about an inch in from the plastic surround. It would come and go with seemingly no affect on the picture. Recently it has progressed to the entire R/H side of the screen breaking down into long vertical and horizontal multicolored lines. The problem is clearly defined only on the R/H side of the screen represented by a sharp line down the very center of the picture. I've switched sources from DTV (HDMI Connection) to Cable (Standard Cable Connection) with the sames results, however DVD's play without a problem.
Any help or suggestions you can provide will be Greatly Appreciated
