Samsung LCD ~ HDMI Black Level Grayed Out

Oct 21, 2010 9:20AM PDT

Hello Everyone,

I've this little annoying problem which at times can get really frustrating... The HDMI Black Level appears & disappears time to time while watching tele... it's a Samsung LCD - LA32S8/720p/HD Ready.

Could this be a technical problem within the LCD? cause if the digital signal wasn't right, it would never appear than. or does it have to anything with the HDMI cable quality?

TechnoLion,

It may be reacting to the signal. Is it visible with HD programming, but say, not SD programming?

This problem occurs with both HD & SD TV content. - funny thing is it re-appears every now & then...
Searching for a solution on web, i found it's more like a universal problem that effects some Samsung LCD models.

Samsung should address this defect officially, there is no digital signal error... because then my Sony LED would've had a similar problem.

Any good solution, please let me know.

- Thanks.
