Try posting your TRANSACTION numbers and if this was at 12, 13, 14, 15 months old. I see in the USA you get 3 more months on most displays if you register on the samsung.com site but can't see if you knew that.
I bought a LCD from samsung, big mistake.
Just after the warranty expired half of the left side of LCD started showing black shadow. The shadow will stay for 5-10 min and then go.
Called Samsung engineer who charged me for visit as no longer in warranty. After 3 visits and different engineers I was told that the LCD is gone which i could change for more money then other LCD in the market or I can switch on TV 20min before i want to watch. They also quoted that this is a manufacturing fault and they are not allowed to open the inside panel as crystal might break.
I should believe that samsung service centers should be equipped to repair there own products.
Why should I bear the charges for something that is manufactured badly. When i searched the net there are hundreds of people complaining for the same problem.
The most embarrassing thing is that even when its a manufacturing fault and they cant repair it, there service centers still wont refund visit charges.
