Well maybe 3.
1. Microsoft. They made this mess and well...
2. Drivesavers.com seems to deal with this.
3. Samsung.
The thing is, this points to a lack of backup. When we encrypt and give Windows is such a fragile OS we must have a ready to restore backup.

I have a Samsung with Windows 8.1. It is encrypted using bitlocker with a USB key. It was working fine until recently.
My laptop won't start and I was getting a blue screen. I found this link by Samsung:
http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=166758&
The solution fixed by blue screen problem, but it messed up the Bitlocker. The system won't read from USB, and I have to enter the key manually. I also noticed that my number key pad doesn't work before the system boots up.
I tried decryption and encryption again. Doesn't work.
I suspect that the BIOS doesn't boot the USB ports before it passes the Bitlocker. Any suggestions?
