Samsung Kies 3 & Galaxy Note 4 Connecting?

Mar 31, 2015 9:04AM PDT

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and trying to use the Kies 3 to backup transfer data and news on my Phone. Using a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. For some reason Kies 3 is not connecting or seeing my Phone. It shows up connected to my Computer thow. Why is going on and why Kies 3 is not connecting through USB? I need help and a solution as to why not connecting?

See odd issue with the SD Card there?

Fix? Ask Samsung.

Using my Surface Pro 3 i5 I have uninstalled reinstalled restarted phone and computer free of Samsung apps and drivers. Still won't see my Note 4 in Kies 3?

A surface pro is not a SD Card.

What, read what. Simple fact is that kies 3 is not connecting to my Samsung Galaxy Note 4? Why and how to solve this?

It's up to Samsung to solve.

I thought the back and forth and that SD Card finding was very interesting pointing to issues that only Samsung can resolve.

Here I had hopes you had a SD card in your Note 4 and would repeat what they tried.

1800SAMSUNG in the USA. For other countries use samsung.com to get a number.

SD Card...

Yes I have a mini SD card in my Galaxy Note 4? But what does that matter?

They found it did at the prior discussion.

Almost every cause I've run into was noted in that discussion. Kies version, samsung usb mobile drivers, SD card, and the install before plug in.

If that doesn't work out, then it's another one for Samsung to clear up. You're not alone in this issue, you can find hundreds of others that can't make it work.
