Samsung and other makers have variants or "slightly different models" even in the same product name and series. All you have is your proof that your J3 is a variant or that this phone has other damage.
Frankly if the phone is sub-200 bucks it sometimes doesn't make sense to try a new screen since the rest of the phone can have damage.
hi i have bought a new screen replacement for my j3 on testing new screen it does not work on my device just black but when i try it on my wifes phone it works fine my original screen works fine so what could be the reason for the new screen not working in my phone help would be appreciated many thanks
