I'm sorry to hear that the Samsung plasma didn't work out for you, but I am happy to hear that the issue was resolved - hopefully to the majority of your satisfaction.

It has been a long road but I will finally get some relief when Samsung finally picks up my buzzing 860.
I have tried to get this issue resolved by technical means (store exchanges, repairs, etc) but have had little luck.
I finally asked for Samsung to refund my money which they graciously will after they pick up the TV. They are sending me a check for the purchase amount minus sales tax.
I hope that Samsung will do the same for others. Good luck to you.
