Question

Samsung instead of iPad?

Jul 5, 2014 2:11AM PDT

He has one of the very first iPads but has never made use of all its facilities, has had a lot of difficulties and generally complains about it. His birthday is coming up, and I wonder if he wouldn't be happier with a Samsung Tab 10? Also, can he transfer the books he downloaded on the iPad to the Samsung eventually? Thanks for an answer.

What books?

And IMO you are moving from a very easy to use tablet to one that is more techy. Some like that, some don't.

If the books are on the Kindle app or iTunes it may be OK.

This is not possible, as they are in a different format, and the books are proprietary for that device only.

Why would you write that?

My books in my Kindle are on my Android and other devices that have the Kindle app. There are other such systems too.
