Samsung: Infolive & Internet@TV

Hello,
I buy the LE46A956 model in April (the price is not given) but I saw that the versions that UE46B7000 function infolive "and replace with" @ Internet TV "and on my TV it does not work and I hope there will one day "Update" to have "widgets" extra. It has purchased a product and months after it is obsolete??
I hope that Samsung will arrange for the "infolive works correctly and we can do a" setup "to surf the Internet ... weather, youtube .... as the UE46B7000.
Greetings

giljourdan,

The LE46A956 is the 2008 model, and the UE46B7000 is a 2009 model. Because of the different hardware upgrades this year, the LE46A956 will not be able to upgrade to the functionality and widgets of the 2009 models, unfortunately.

giljourdan,

Internet@TV functionality is not available on your model.

InfoLink is available on your model, and depending on the functionality available in your area, should give some basic information. I can't speak for your region, but news, stocks and weather are features offered in the U.S.

Thank you for the answer about the infonlive.
Can we set the infolive to get to the weather (ex: take the weather in my region (Luxembourg) on yahoo?)

Everything depends on the firmware to connect to the internet ... it was the hope of one day having a infolive parametrable?

My TV is a 2008 model but I bought it in April and if I understand it is already obsolete vis a vis TV LED.

giljourdan,

Your best bet would be to call the customer service center in your region. Most have a phone number, email, or both. I just don't know what services are available outside of the U.S. - and they will also know about the regional firmware updates available for your specific set.

Hope that helps.
