Samsung Induction Range E-84 Error Code

I have a 4 year old Samsung range model# ne599n1PBSR/AC and E-84 error code is showing. Tried to get some answers thru Samsung for 3 weeks and still getting the running around / getting nowhere. I am told that the inverter module DG94-00728A is the problem. IT is discontinued!!!!! What am I suppose to do with this???? Can anybody help me with this issue please?

Clarification Request
I have the same problem

Is there anyone in Canada that fixes these boards. I have the exact same model and it is giving me the same error code.

A note about makers and then 300 buck part?

The makers rarely discuss how to repair their products. Almost all of them just arrange for repair and with the Internet you find folk expecting the makers to participate in the diagnosis and repair. Many burn out over that.

The stove appears to be 5 years old and this seems to be when the makers today stop stocking parts (or earlier.

It's also 300 bucks.

It's an induction generator problem

Hi, your problem will be DG96-00216C inside the DG94-00728A assembly. You can get this board repaired. Search ebay for that part number. I do these repairs personally with great success. The cost is $165USD + shipping both ways.

Samsung Induction E-84 Error Code

I have the same code. I have yet to talk to Samsung but according to my repair man, Samsung does not have the inverter module in stock and has no ETA, which could render the range useless for months. I did find someone in Ottawa who repairs these.

This might be the way I go...that or trash the stove for a new one, which won't be a Samsung, but I'm running out of trustworthy appliance manufacturers.

Samsung Induction E-84 Error Code

I had mine repaired. It cost me $750.00 CDN The stove is only worth $2,000.00 to buy it now - but I paid much more and I really like it so I thought it was worth repairing. I was without a stove for 3 weeks though.

Cost To repair E84

By the way, TOTAL cost to repair for MOST (96%) of customers is just for 1 board, = $230CDN + $50CDN shipping both ways = $280CDN. (not $750) This assumes people pull their own board and reinstall it, and usually just 1 board fails.
In USD: 210 USD TOTAL shipping included

New link to Repair board

Hi, I accidentally let the old listing expire. Here is the new link to repair DG96-00216C to fix E84
I also perform the service for US customers, it just requires using USPS and declaring the broken board correctly to avoid any extra charges. Happy
So far I've only had 1 board that I could not service due to incorrect prior repair attempts by someone. Out of over 50.

How do we get in touch with you?

We tried to figure out from your ebay listing how we would contact you to see whether our issue is the one you are able to fix. We had a big popping sound while using boost on front right burner, model NE597N0PBSR-AA, which has had many other parts gradually or dramatically quit working over the years. We have been inside the stove top before (replaced once because of broken glass). So we can probably take a picture and send it to you, but how? It's not at all clear how to contact you from within ebay. Is it that we first buy the service, then communicate? Eager to hear. Thank you.
