Bumping up or replacing what TVs come with today and do not compare well to receivers and speaker sets. You should go ahead and call Samsung for support and if this doesn't cut it, pack and return it so you can start looking into receivers and speakers.
Brand new & disappointed. I mostly watch TV, not movies.
Very little sound, no bass coming out of subwoofer but can feel a bit of vibration on the box. Settings for treble/bass/subwoofer all at 6. Tested it on music channel and it is tinny and weak.
1) Ideas for help or is this just not the system for me?
2) Best all-around setting for rich sound (i.e. sports/movie/standard)?
3) Haven't gone into television settings for "external speakers" only, because the only time sound is decent is when TV speakers are also on but there is a tiny lag/echo, even when sync is zero.
4) Should this be able to work from my cable remote once I set on external speakers? Don't want to have to use two remotes since I use DVR a lot.
Thanks!
