Samsung HW-F355 Sound Bar Cutting Out

My husband bought a new sound bar from Best Buy for Christmas, and from the day we installed it to our Samsung Smart TV, the sound has been cutting out. It's connected via fiber optic cable. It's maybe only for an 1/8 of a second, but it happens intermittently when we watch TV and it is driving me absolutely insane. I have looked through other posts and have seen several other people post the same thing. What I can not find, however, is a resolution to said problem, and if I don't find one quickly, this sound bar is going back in the box and back to Best Buy.

Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem?

Too many causes.

Here's my shorter list.

1. Remove the shipping caps from the ends of the cable.
2. Get out the canned air and give the ports a very short blast.
3. Send PCM stereo as 5.1 can cut out.

Still the delay. Even tried a different fiber optic cord. Problem persisted. I'm about to give up on Samsung.

Return it as defective and try another model.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
