I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues getting your Home Theater set up.
What input are you using on the Home Theater to accept the incoming signal?
Also, what is the full model number of the television?
Hopefully someone here can help me. I've tried calling Samsung directly and its the same thing everytime. I have a 50" Samsung TV (5076S) and just purchased the HTTZ512 Samsung Surround Sound. I've tried countless times to connect the Optical Audio OUT from the TV to the Optical Audio IN from the Surround sound and nothing. I've changed cables 4 times already and nothing. PLEASE HELP!! Is there any other configuration that I need to do? I've also tried doing the "automatic mute" from the TV that the customer service agents insist on and still nothing.
