kaross8,
Many of the 4th Gen Nano units have a new firmware that Apple has confirmed makes it difficult to work with several products on the market, including the Z410 dock.
Unfortunately, we don't have the authority to over-ride this new software, and it was placed there, according to the source I spoke with, due to copyright agreements with content holders.
They have suggested using an RCA to 3.5mm input and play the music through the headphone jack into the system itself.
I apoligize for this inconvenience, however, this affects 4th Gen Nano units and Classics.

I got the Samsung HT-Z410 and an iPod Nano 4th Generation for Christmas. I am trying to hook up the HT-Z410 to the iPod using the docking station and the music does not play. I am following the instructions that came with the HT-Z410 but I do not have a TV hooked up to the HT-Z410. Do I need to hook up a TV to play music from the iPod? I'm not ready to hook up a TV just yet. I wanted the system to use for playing music now and EVENTUALLY hooking up a TV to it.
