Samsung HT-X801

I have an HT-X810, which seems to be working perfectly, I have just discovered that there is a firmware update but I am reluctant to install it unless there is a very real benefit, what does the update do?
Thanks

rossian808,

If you're not experiencing any difficulties, then you may not need to update.

However, this isn't a U.S. model. Would you please let me know which region in the following link best describes the region you're in? I'll be happy to look to see if there are any notes on the website that gives further information:

rossian808,

I checked to see if any notes were posted on the website about this, and there aren't. Unfortunately, you'd have to call the Samsung customer service center in your region to see what changes were made. I just don't have any information on this.
