Called Samsung here in Oz.
1st guy (from overseas call centre I suspect) just said to do a firmware update. He didn't check to see if one existed... which it didn't. So I had to call back. This time got a local, who spent the time to walk me through a reset (press STOP til machine turns off, then re-enter your desired language etc etc etc).

I know how this sounds... but my DVD suddenly wont accept my DVDs due to Region code...
My 2 week old Samsung HT-C655W DVD home audio machine, which I readily admit to having hunted for a region-free-code for (without success), has suddenly started rejecting all of my R4 discs.
What happened - I paused "Finding Nemo" while my son went to the toilet. When he got back, I didn't notice him grab the remote, and try to get it going again on his own. Fianc
