There was a similar complaint over here: http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-571741/samsung-ht-c5900-wont-play-the-avengers-3d-blu-ray/
However, many are posting that it's now fixed. As much as I'd like to be, I'm not able to support multiple countries, as I only have information for US products. With that said, you can contact your country's support to inform them of the problem: http://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitcountrysite.html
Like many I've bought myself Avengers Assemble on Blu Ray 3D, and my Samsung player (which i won last November, not sure on age of device) won't play it. It'll play Transformers 3 which came out earlier in the year on 3D Blu Ray, and it'll play the 2D version of the Avengers disc, but not the 3D.
Samsung haven't released a firware update for my device since 2010, so I'm guessing I'm screwed? If so I will be taking this higher up, not sure how as I don't exactly have proof of purchase but what if I had bought it online last week? would that mean I'd have spent over £400 on something which won't sodding work?
any replies would be awesome, thanks.
