I spoke with Samsung and they sent a technician out to the house on yesterday. The catch is I have to pay for the trip fee and eval and if the technician confirms its the chip or what ever I was to call back. Well today I called back and was told again that my model is not part of the recall. What the heck!!!!, my question to Samsung was if they are aware this is a obvious defect which by now we are all aware it is how come they can't address this whole situation accordingly. My other question was how did they determine which TV's would be covered under this known issue and others wouldn't. It appears many of their DLP models are having the same issue so why not cover all of them. Unlike the other correspondents I fully enjoy my Samsung products (total of 6). I hope I don't have any issues with the technician we will see how it goes team and I will advise, waiting on a supervisor today as i did last night (never called). I just don't understand how one DLP can be covered due to an issue and not all of them? All my dots less important that the others?
