Samsung HLR5688W & HLR5087W

Are these TV's out yet? They were supposed to be out in Feb 2005 !

Samsung 1080P HL-R5688W Scheduled to roll out in May 2005

I spoke to the product manager at Samsung USA who advised me that due to production problems the Samsung HL-R5688W rollout has been postponed from February to late May.

I am quite impressed with the 720P model HL-P5685W. The only thing I find annoying is the graininess of the rear projection screen, a problem associated with all rear projection DLP and LCD screens.

I am truly hoping that Samsung will reduce the graininess on the 1080P model, but this is just wishful thinking.

Has anyone seen the preproduction model of the HL-R5688W at the CES in January, and do you have any comments on the graininess of that screen?
