Sorry but I can't diagnose this over the internet but it sounds similar to the issue at the link. However it may take a technician to determine if that's it.
I have the Samsung HL61A750 Rear Projection DLP LED Television and when I purchased it, it was absolutely the best bang for the buck and I would still put it up against any LCD on the market. I've owned it for approx 4 years and lately I've noticed a strip about 1" -1 1/4" wide all the way to the left side of the screen and the total height of the screen, that is a gray/black color. It is transparent but very noticeable. I'm not overly concerned with it at this point but would like to know if anyone else has had this issue and what can be done about it. Thanks.
