Hi,
I understand that you have tried several troubleshooting steps. Every system has different keystrokes to toggle the display depending upon the system model. I want to check if you used the keystrokes to project the display on Samsung TV.
For the Studio XPS series, press <Fn> and <F8> key or press <Fn> key and the dedicated key between F12 and Insert keys for toggling the display as shown in the image.
Is the input on Samsung TV selected as HDMI?
Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards,
Manpreet C
Hi,
Bought latest 40" Samsung model UA40ES5600 SMART TV specifically for connecting to my Dell Studio XPS
Guys in Emax shop were great, sold me a HDMI Cable, checked out my PC that i brought along, sold me a wirelss keyboard etc etc whole 9 yards.
BUT
There is s long history of Samsung and HDMI and laptops not getting along.
Would someone please give me a fix for this problem.
Samsung Menu reports No Signal at HDMI/DV1
Even though it does recognise there is a HDMI cable inserted.
Have trawled so many forums, which all basically say, Yes there is a problem.
How can I get my Dell to recognise Samsung TV or Vice Versa
Windows Vista does not recognise that there is a 2nd Monitor connected, so no go there with display settings etc.
