I would be happy to do that, however it would take a few days for me to procure a disc and successfully test that. However, regardless of whether it is successful for me and the file format I use, the manual does specifically state that DVD+RW is not a supported format. So the bottom line is that even though it may or may not work for me, those results don't necessarily determine compatibility or override what is specifically stated in the manual. I say this because I don't want you to be disappointed if the results are different for you. I'm not able to troubleshoot what the manual specifically notes isn't supported.
Regarding this post: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-13973_102-0.html?threadID=357299 about the HT-BD1250 and DVD+RW.
I live in a small town and the nearest electronics retailer selling this unit is about 60 miles from here so the possibility of testing a DVD+RW on a floor model is difficult to say the least.
I really, really, would like to buy this unit - have already reserved one online, the HT-BD1255 version, with the stand speakers - but if it can't plat DVD+RW, it'll be a show stopper.
Could you, please, test the HT-BD1250 with a DVD+RW and confirm if it works or not?
Many thanks in advance
