I couldnt find anything about time lapse, so i was wondering if any of you knew whether these had that capability.
Both around the same price. i want to stay around 400 and under. Really need to make a decision on what camera to buy really soon

I couldnt find anything about time lapse, so i was wondering if any of you knew whether these had that capability.
is used to remotely control the camcorder if the camcorder is used as a playback device connected to a TV. The same sort of infrared remote control is used by many TVs so one can change channels, adjust the volume, etc. This has nothing to do with being able to record video in zero visible light - like the few Sony camcorders (outside your budget) that have "NightShot" mode (see the HDR-CX700.)
