On 3-14-2016 my wife and I bought 2 new S7 Edges each with our own receipts. I submitted the receipts on line to Samsung promotions and we each received our submission claim numbers. On 4-18-2016 I received a email that my submission had been approved, but my wife never received a email confirming hers being approved. I got on live chat with Samsung (Chat # 4310128182) and was told that my wife's had been denied because they could not read the receipt. I looked at a copy on my computer and could read it. The person on Live Chat told me not to worry she would still get her VR Gear just send them a new copy.
I have tried for 2 weeks trying to find out who and where to send a copy of her purchase so my wife can get her promotion VR Gear. Let me tell you Samsung's customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their operators put me on hold and never came back, asked to talk to a supervisor and was told it would be 7-10 days before I was called back. Eventually was told she would not get her VR Gear, I asked why and was told it was to late. I told them it was submitted on time and she received a submission claim number and I can read her receipt information why can't they! I think they had so many people submit claims they are looking for excuses to deny them. Samsung customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Hard to understand their phone personal, so much noise from their phone rooms hard to hear them and cannot get a phone number to call someone higher in the company to discuss this with. I will talk with my wife when she gets home and see if she wants to dump the S7's and get IPhones.
