Hi can anyone help me just bought hdmi tv conector for my tab 2 10.1 but this wont work any ideas on why & how to

There appears to be a dozen models world wide. As such I can only be vague here. If it doesn't work then there is some defect or maybe it just doesn't do HDMI.

That is, I take your word that you did your research that your tablet does HDMI with this cable. Your post seems to reveal that this was not done.

I don't mind double checking this for you but you can imagine I'd have to know exactly what you have.

This does not mean we can't get it to do MiraCast. But this many posts and I'm still having to guess you have the UK model I linked to.

OK, I guess I'll note what I'm thinking and let you find a way.

I'd head to XDA Developers to install a new ROM that supports MiraCast.
