Hi all;

I buy a Samsung galaxy tab 4 (8")

First time when I on the power button (top of the right side)
it on, after when I press the power button again it shows the on-screen instructions....................
something like would you like to shutdown the device
ok or cancel
but I wrongly press the cancel button and press again the power button it turn off
now turn on/off I can't see any instructions
I want to turn off my device by shutdown method
pls. what I have to do to display the on-screen instruction again & I want to turnoff my device by shutdown method
My device is on/off like a television, is this will reduce my device lifetime

Please advise
I had go through the Quick start Guide also
at page 11, When turning on the device for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device

thanks

I'd talk to Samsung.

This is the first I've heard turning on/off methods can change the life span of this tablet. That's news to me.

Ask Samsung why this is.
