You'll void any warranty but google XDA FORUMS and my bet is they have an out of band, out of support, forget your warranty update for you.

I purchased the Tab 2 10.1 4GLTE. Verizon advertises it with the latest Jelly Bean software. I got mine and it had Ice Cream sandwich. After many calls to Verizon and visits to the store, I finally spoke to Samsung. They said I cannot receive any software updates unless I connect over the air which means I need to pay the $35 connection fee and a monthly charge of at least $30 a month for continuous services. Verizon will not allow wifi software updates which means I can't get the Jelly Bean software which is advertised on their site. So I have a product that is not as advertised and I paid $524 for it. Not happy about this situation. Does anyone know if there is anyway to get around this? Thanks!
