Question

Samsung galaxy tab 10.1

My tablet doesn't start unless it's connected to a laptop. It doesn't charge when its connected or otherwise. When it does start, it's goes into a reboot loop. My applications are all backed up. What is the problem here? And what is the solution? Please help.

You can try a factory reset and a new battery

But get estimates on repair as I'm hearing numbers that mean a new tablet is cheaper than repair.

I got it to start. now i want to factory reset it. but every time i do it, it ends with an error msg, and goes back to the password screen......

That's not a good sign.

Too bad the error msg is unknown but get repair estimates. Here the repair costs more than replacement.

When didn't this happen?
I think the the trouble was caused by the battery. Didn't you drop your tablet into water ever? You'd better examine the battery. I know it's expensive to repair the tablet. Or you have to return it to Samsung service center for solution.
