Samsung Galaxy speech-to-text problems

Dec 29, 2011 11:30PM PST

My new Samsung Galaxy Precedent was working just fine with the speech-to-text. Now all of a sudden it's all weird and even writing other languages. For instance, I spoke: "I'm talking this text to you Hello" It typed: "aemt austin street sharks civil sabado". Now I understand it sometimes gets a word wrong here and there, but it hasn't been this bad. I never knowingly changed any language settings or anything else related to this. What and where do I need to look for to make this right again? Thanks!

Two things:
1. This forum is meant more for equipment like TV's and BR-players than for phones and tablets. So if no good answer comes here, you better try our http://forums.cnet.com/cell-phones-forum/
2. If no good answer comes there also: back to the shop and claim warranty. Either they know how to fix it or they'll have to give you another one or a refund, because it clearly doesn't work now.
